Payment policy.
Emergency Medical Admission
For emergency admission, patients are required to make a small deposit during the admission process. Should the stay be extended beyond the day or into multiple days, guardians of the patient will be notarized of the bill as it is updated. Patients are asked to keep payments updated during your stay.
Remaining balances are kindly asked to be cleared on discharge.
surgical procedures admission
Once a date and time is set between the patient, facility and doctor, please fill the admission form and Covid-19 form available in the admission tab above, to the best of your ability. Upon submission of both you may notify staff that you have completed them so they may make arrangements to make your procedure as smooth as possible.
An estimate would have been provided to you prior to your procedure, and the estimated about will have to be paid in full prior to your procedure. Should there be any additional charges which arise during the procedure, we kindly ask that the outstanding amounts be cleared when the patient is discharged.
Maternity admission
We advise that 4-6 weeks prior to your expected date of delivery arrangements be made with our staff by first filling the admission and Covid-19 form located in the drop down menu for Admission above, then notarizing them of your needs. They may ask that you upload your obstetrics records using our upload tool, again located in the admission menu above.
Any special requirements, such as dietary needs, can be put into the appropriate field in our admission form.
Upon registration a deposit may be required.
Upon admission, depending on the type of delivery, a cost will be given to the patient which should be paid during admission.
Kindly be advised that your doctor’s fee may be separate.
On discharge, any outstanding fees are kindly asked to be cleared.
Insurance Clearance
During or prior to admission, your insurance information will be taken. Your coverage will depend on your insurer and then plan which you are subscribed to. You may contact your insurance provider for more information on your coverage.
Victoria Nursing Home will reach out to your insurance provider to determine what level of coverage is available to you prior to treatment.
Kindly confirm your payment of fees with your doctor’s office, as their fees are, in most cases are separate from that of Victoria Nursing Home, and would require a direct payment to that office for both elective and major treatment.
