Dr Adam attended Fatima and St Mary’s College and graduated at University of Edinburgh, Scotland and obtained American Board Certifications in Neurology, Neurosurgery and Electroencephalography at Temple University in Philadelphia, USA and FRCS Canada in Neurosurgery.
He has been Specialist Medical Officer Neurosurgery at NW, NC and SWRHA and at Ministry of Health as Medical Director, National Emergency Ambulance Service and Manager, Disaster Preparedness Unit and later Chairman of the National Emergency Ambulance Services Board.
He is an Associate Lecturer in Surgery and part time lecturer in Public Health and program director of ATLS-Advanced Trauma Life Support and PHTLS-Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support courses .He is Secretary of the Society of Surgeons of Trinidad & Tobago and a past President of the Trinidad & Tobago Medical Association and a deputy editor of the Caribbean Medical Journal and a referee of the Workmen’s Compensation Board.
